Couple of Civi Questions...

Post by Tommygun »

Just been playing civi a bit and have a couple of questions.

Can I drop patches for myself and not break my martyr status (after 1 min of chilling)?

Can I drop patches for others without harming my martyr status?

If I pull out an epi or medi bag but not use it is my martyr status maintained?

If I die a martyr and have the message "You died as a martyr" can I be revived and enemy team still looses 10 intel points and all other bad things that happen when you kill an "innocent".

TIA

Camo! The fish thing not released yet but you can see me dancing badly here
No Limits Airwaves Gum TV Commercial - YouTube
I get all of about 3 seconds between 20and 23.

My other show on Spirituality is on TV here in ZA but not on youtube yet, you are going to have to assuage your desire for my voice like you waited for PRv1.0
:)
I suspect brain laag is right tho.

It is yes to all of them except the third one. The medibag won't affect your martyr status ever even if you heal someone, and if you pull out an epipen you won't be a martyr anymore.

To make it very simple, you WON'T be killed as martyr anymore when :
- you pull out an epipen
- you pull out the resuscitate

And that's all, everything else can be used as you wish (yes you can heal people with medibag no problem) ;)

Haven't they changed the ROE rules for civis entering cars? Can someone give a detailed insight on that?

Read the manual. You'd learn things like this! :)

OK I'll tell you the things that make you not a martyr. You must not do the following things for 1 minute and after that you're a martyr until you do these things again.

1. Spawning
2. Using a vehicle (even riding)
3. Using a weapon (rocks, medic bag, patches, ladders and grappling hooks are fine)
4. Taking out your resuscitation or epipen weapons (even if you don't use them).

You are sure that you only have to select it to break the rule and not actually "fire" it first?

Much easier to stay "safe" as a collaborator than I expected.

Get onto a roof with no ladders and dodge shotguns and steal enemy ropes :p

Yes Gracler fairly sure. If it hasn't been changed since 0.98 then it doesn't need to be 'fired' first.

Pro_Snipe what you say is wrong for the number 3, rocks patches and medibag are okay and can be used. As I said it is very simple :

- wait one minute after you spawn
- don't pull out epipens
- don't pull out resuscitate
- don't get into a vehicle
- don't pick up a kit

Follow this and you'll always be killed as martyr!

I think its stupid that shotguns count as an arrest, makes it way too easy for bluefor.

Manual says that u can be shoot and arrested if u:

-Spawn and u didnt wait 1 min
-Heal or revived teammate, and u didnt wait 1 min.
-drive a car, bike and u didnt wait 1 min
- shoot with shootgun or restrained.

U can have medi bag in your arms, just do not heal(getting points for healing) the same thing is with epipen.
U can use a rocks, binocs, grapling hooks and ladders

No, you can heal people with medibag I am sure of it I play civi 247 :)
Pulling out epipens or resuscitate is the only thing that will make you lose your martyr status, even if you don't actually use them.

I agree, Bluefor already has enough advantages without this one.

Withount it the bluefor litteraly won't be able to catch them. And in many times running after them will just be either suicide or potential teamkilling.

You have to idea how many exploits there were before the shotguns got introduced as new method of arresting.

Oh really? Then you haven't seen a fake Garry packed with civis get blown up by a tank. That, most of the time, assured victory, or a horde of convinced martyrs run into a mortar barrage.
