PR on BF2?
Ok, so I've played, lived and sometimes eat, sleep and pr , everyday first thing on the browser checking for an update (until PR1.0 of course) but let me be honest, its really sad that to know all those intense amounts of modifications done by hard working devs over a very long period of time is on the obsolete Refractor 2, yes there is that arma 2 version and an upcoming arma 3 one however I cant see those huge modifications except on the BF2 one, so my concern is: will it be on BF2 forever?? or there will be a standalone PR on a new more advanced beefy engine?? and if so my other concern is: can the colossal amounts of weapons vehicles and other assets ported to that standalone game to save huge time?
and lastly I would like to thank the devs for their extremely satisfactory very hard work to make PR the most realistic yet fun FPS mod or shall i say game of all time

Project Reality 2
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f11-of ... -game.html
I could also quote multiple posts from PR devs which have already said that there are multiple teams working on PR projects for BF2, ArmA, and CE3.

Re: PR on BF2?
Some of the assets created for PR:BF2 were made from high quality models yes, so given that they still have the source files it should be possible to use them for PR2 and other PR games. However I think it's still best to create new assets from scratch as each game-engine has it's specific needs and limitations. So I think that's also what the PR2 team is focusing on but I am not certain so you will have to ask them yourselfhussamsoft wrote:and if so my other concern is: can the colossal amounts of weapons vehicles and other assets ported to that standalone game to save huge time?

Man, I wish I could get a time frame on PR2. Even though I know better then to ask, lol. I'll be overseas for a bit and I hope I don't miss it.
And now, we wait.....

You can be damn sure that PR2 won't be ready for years.IWI-GALIL.556FA wrote:Man, I wish I could get a time frame on PR2. Even though I know better then to ask, lol. I'll be overseas for a bit and I hope I don't miss it.![]()

Is the OP saying:
"Is PR going to be BF2 only forever?"
I have hard time seeing what the op is saying.

Re: PR on BF2?
It will be free to play and free to download, no games will be required to play it and they are using the latest built of the CE3 SDK AFAIK. For more information go to the crydev forums, or PR2's facebook site.hussamsoft wrote:I meant will project reality still be a battlefield 2 mod for more long time,

I want to say it's a Merkava with reactive armor, but I am not entirely sure.camo_jnr_jnr wrote:What tank is that in your sig?

No its not a merkava, its a M60 tank called phoenix which is developed for royal jordanian army, its clear that it is a m60 due to its high profileAnA10Warthog wrote:I want to say it's a Merkava with reactive armor, but I am not entirely sure.
