launcher just says install and doesnt say plau

Ive installed to mod onto my computer but when i hit auto run it just tells me to install the game. i uninstalled the mod and tried again and the message popped up again. i then tried to BF2pr.exe but when the mod starts it tells me to start using the pr launcher. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question this is my first time installing a mod to bf2 without desura and hope that the community can help find a solution.

You need to launch the PRLauncher (as admin) from BF2\mods\pr\bin\PRLauncher.exe
