In Game Problems!

Hey all,
More problems after the PR intro played.
Before in game:
-Button boxes and text are not synced (I have to click above the text in order to access that feature)
After loading into game:
-Ground is transparent, can see through floor
-I can zoom into iron sights and reflex sights with no problem, but when I get into optics etc the screen turns black
-mumble does not transmit while in game (they can hear me but I can't hear them)

I installed BF2 and PR into my secondary SSD and have both of them up to date. I reinstalled it once just to make sure it wasn't just a one time glitch.
BF2 version was 1.5.3 if I remember correctly
and PR auto updated to it's newest version.

Any fixes?

This is because of the custom PR menus inside BF2 engine, this only occurs when you are NOT in fullscreen mode.
As I saw you had problems starting on the new secondary drive in the other thread,
you need to adjust the screen resolution settings in PRLauncher, then you should be able to play in fullscreen, and the misaligned buttons issue is fixed.

In PRLauncher, click Support->Copy to Clipboard-... then paste it in this thread, it will give us your system specs. Makes this easier to troubleshoot.

Couple of possible reasons,
being not in fullscreen is one possible cause.
easiest solutions:
start PRLauncher,->Support->Utilities Tab->The top Utility is the "Clear Shader Caches", click the Perform Task button.
Start PR in fullscreen mode to test.

Second option, download the newest stable video drivers for your GPU, make sure you fully uninstall the prior drivers, reboot, install your new drivers. reboot.
Start PR in fullscreen mode to test.
I suggest using DriverFusion to uninstall the old graphics drivers:

install it, run it, completely uninstall the Radeon or GeForce drivers.

REBOOT.

Do NOT allow the new hard ware wizard to install drivers.

Download the drivers directly from either AMD.com NVidia.com or the GPU manufacturer's website.

Install the drivers, make sure to do a custom install so no junkware is added in the installation.

REBOOT.

You should then be good to go, though on some games you might need to delete the shaders caches once, especially with BF2 and PR.

Start PR, join an online server, spawn in to the game,
then alt-tab PR to get to desktop, in the bottom right next to the time, you'll see a PRMumble icon, you can double click that to bring PRMumble window up,
in PRMumble->Configure->Settings->Bottom Left, tick the Advanced tickbox, ->Select the Audio Output->Make sure you select the correct speakers/headphones , click APPLY.
test in PR.
