Played Dovre as German yesterday and the Germans were hard to see, but if a russian came up it was too easy to spot them. They are a bit to bright.

yeah on dovre its impossible to stay hidden. its norway and they got similar vegetation as in russia. you 'd think their camouflage would fit perfectly to it but it does not. no idea how much work it is to make the uniform less bright but it would be an improvement for almost all maps. Militia has the same advantage against them, with their darker clothes.

Yes, the russians are like walking green glowsticks.
the Germans just need to stand in the open, they won't be spotted lol.

Re: Russian camouflage
Flora camouflage irl is actually pretty dark.
In-game version seems too bright.

Re: Russian camouflage
Flecktarn is brighter IRL than the Russian camo. It's the opposite in PR.
Flecktarn is designed for grove-type woods in Central Europe, which are light coloured forests, obviously.
Russian camos are often designed for darker coniferous forests (because that's what russian forests are...)

Playing Saaremaa I felt the opposite. Russian camo blends well into the environment, while American camo is too dark and easily seen.

On Yamalia russians are hard to spot and on Saaremaa its also not that easy, but dovre really is a problem.

Re: Russian camouflage
Isn't its about a time to change the Russian faction's cammos'? All Russian Federation soldiers are walking around in standardized digital cammo uniforms now. Its been a few years already, after their army modernization program.
Plus, most of their Mi8 choppers have been modernized too, now they have "noses".
Devs could also fix that "glowing uniform" bug in the process.

Not to mention that Russians dumped VSR-98 for everything except stuff like rucks. They don't even use the SSh-68s any more, now it's the 6B29, basically a Russified PASGT. Russians need some new kit geometries and textures. US Army needs New textures as well, with UCP being officially dumped

Re: Russian camouflage
UCP is being dumped, but no pattern has been selected yet to replace it, however the US is a different discussion. Its hard to keep up with the Russians at the rate they change things.

I also think they still are easier to see. We can see that in Yamalia. CF camo is way darker and Russians get killed easily by them.
