Something that's missing, and has always been missing, from these conversations about insurgency is actual stats on who wins, how often and by how much.
I suspect that one team almost always wins on certain maps and vice versa.
Format:
Server:
Map:
Avg players:
Did one team consistently have more players?
Victory: Who won and how (cache destruction and time left, or ticket bleed, caches left and time left)
Team KDR
Average collaborators:
Any other notes:
Round 1:
Server: (HOG)
Map: Basrah Std
Avg players: ~90
Victory: BAF win (~2:45 remaining)
Blufor more players the entire round.
Team KDR: (rage quit, unknown, when I left it was roughly 5:1)
Avg collaborators: <1, - 2 existed for approx 1 min each during the time I was there.
Notes: BAF spawnlocked INS team and farmed kills, including APC camp on mosque with nades thrown into the mosque and a tank/APC camp in the south desert. The longest a cache stayed unknown for the time I was there was approximately 15 seconds.
Round 2:
Server: CIA
Map: Fallujah (didn't note layer)
Avg Player:~50
Victory: Server crashed
Blufor more players entire round
Team KDR: 4:1 at crash
Avg collaborators: 2 (in a martyr squad who were deliberately suicide to blufor)
Notes: Nil
Round 3:
Server: CIA
Map: Ramiel
Avg players:
Victory:
Team KDR
Average collaborators:
Any other notes:

Re: Insurgency - Quantitive Analysis
I dont know exactly but i think the DEVs got some sort of tool that saves stats from every game are played online. Some DEVs mentionend something about that in several Map Feedbackthreads. Dont know if you could give much more information if this thread isnt constatly updated.

Yeah, we have lots of map stats, which we use to look for trends... so I wouldn't worry about posting stuff like that here.ghostfool84 wrote:I dont know exactly but i think the DEVs got some sort of tool that saves stats from every game are played online.
