Gaming and computer crashing

I have been having several problems with the latest patch so far. Sometimes when a map is loading, it starts getting very laggy and SLOOOOOWWWWWW. When the loading reaches 100%, my game will crash to desktop. When i try to load the game back up, my computer will either black screen, or the game will be extremely laggy. I have noticed it so far on Dragon Fly and Kokan in particular. Loading into Dragon Fly it got very choppy and load time was much longer than usual. When i got in game I was getting down to 15FPS while gunning an APC. I restarted my computer, loaded back in normal, and was getting 50FPS gunning the same APC...I have had a few other people tell me they are having this problem too.

The other issue is when the loading screen gets laggy and slow, my computer will black screen and completely crash. I have NEVER had issues with PR like this before the latest patch. It happened to me about three times yesterday, which is more than I have ever encountered in PR before.

Is this a problem with PR, or is it somehow related to my PC?

Well, telling your specs would be a good start.

Is it laggy as in "slow internet connection", or as in low FPS? Two different things that people always mix up.

Laggy as in low FPS. Like I said, I would get about 15fps until I restarted my computer then it would go back up to 50FPS.

With that said, I actually wouldn't doubt if this is computer related. I am on two old HHD's that are dying and I am in the process of upgrading to an SSD. But I have just had other people tell me the same thing, which is why it could be game related.

Hardrives can matter, but I would be surprised.. Although, I had problems with loading things with my 5 year old harddrive, it was just slow as hell.

Must be something game/mod/system (32 vs 64bit) related then
