Audio issues on PR Mumble

Post by SKG_Kyle »

Hi guys seems I have a bit of a problem I need help fixing, I can't hear other players they can hear me but I cannot hear them, I have my wireless headphones selected as Audio input and Audio output, I re-downloaded PR but the latest version I could get was 1.0 as 7-zip will not open an ISO file I updated PR and now have PR mumble from it I see myself in a squad when I open PR mumble but I cannot see any of their mics lighting up when they talk I have been trying various things this is deeply affecting my gameplay I get kicked from squads because I'm not "Listening" to commands and there is nothing I can do about it :(

Go into the mumble settings and make sure that in the Audio Output tab your device is set to the output you want (in most cases this will be "Speakers"). I've had it decide to output to something weird before, which has done what you've described. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what the issue could be.

Hiya SKG_Kyle,
If you can list all the parts in your audio chain,
motherboard make and model, or discrete audio card. The drivers?
which OS?
which make and model of headset, which drivers.?
And any 3rd party audio software, like Realtek Sound Manager.

We'll narrow it down as fast as possible.

I had the same issue. You need to check your mumble 'volume up' and 'volume down' keys. When you can't hear anyone just higher the volume.
