How to get MGs?

I am a new player to PRM and its great so far but I have one question about the weapons...looking at the regular kits its all assualt rifles which is great by the way but I could have sworn a few times I have seen someone running by me with a SAW...is there a way to get this gun from the kit list? Do I have to get a better rank?

Join a squad > Go to a flag that you control > Hit T and request it.

Read the players guide. You know, like it recommends you do while you are waiting for the gigantic download to complete.

Join a squad, go up to a flag, within the cap radii usually, and Hit T, then request the kit

join squad
go to friendly flag
press t
select kit
if available it will be allocated so press 'g'
if not try again later

First of all i would say RTFM, but i feel happy today so i wont.

All you need to do, is join a squad, stand within 20m radius of a friendly flag, press T and select the weapon of your choice.

EDIT : Wow quite a few people posted at the same time lol.
