Bullet Fly By Sounds and File Verification

Need help with 2 issues:

1.
How do the flyby_01 to 23.ogg files actually work within in-game. They seem to be more "cracker" from 01 to 10, and more whizle and material impact from 10 to 23. Can i just rename them, for some testing, or do i need to reencode them again? Them seem to have the same serial, to i think renaming them will work.

2.
How to bypass the file verification, with the new prlauncher. I've tried to made a new copy of the pr folder, and launch frim the /bin, but it doesn't work.

I can't answer the audio file question, I can answer your second question:


certain folder names are reserved.

copy the mods/pr folder to mods/pr_edit and that will work.

No modifications should ever be made to mods/pr. That is reserved for public online play, and legit files are required for that. So if you want to do a minimod or do some edits or whatever, use something else . Reserved mod names are pr, pr_test, pr_repo and pr_beta. Anything else is free to use without issue.
