Bomb injures people inside BMP-3

I encounter something strange today at the PRTA server, Black Gold STD map.
While driving a BMP-3 a bomb exploded between 50m-200m away, damaging the BMP-3 only lightly, but me and my gunner were bleeding out after 1-2 min.
I am pretty sure thats not normal.
