Only some factions are able to change optics mode (alternating between scope and BUIS) while sprinting. I am unsure if this changes on a per-map basis as well. Also, it would be nice if the optics mode indicator in the bottom right could be visible while sprinting, as it currently disappears with the mag count. These little details can really trip you up in the heat of an assault, especially since the optics changing mechanism (script?) doesn't always respond quickly. One must stop sprinting for about a full second (1 tick, im guessing?) for the change to take effect after pressing the command.
I absolutely love this system, and these are really just the last few wrinkles to iron-out in a truly excellent, and unprecedented piece of work.

This is something that has already been changed. In future all weapons will keep their HUD while sprinting, so you will be able to switch sigths and see your current mode. It will also prevent reddots from disappearing when jumping scoped in.Walmarx wrote:Only some factions are able to change optics mode (alternating between scope and BUIS) while sprinting.
