Favourite moments?
Just an idea...how about we all post our favourite moment in Project Reality. That one valiant defence or charge that really awed you, that time you wiped out an entire squad on your own, etc.
Mine so far has to be: being on the MEC side in a desert map. We're defending some artillery, taking cover behind a line of sandbags, when a bunch of US infantry assault us. They throw some smoke grenades in front of us, then charge, somehow managing to time it just right so they charge at the exact moment when a dust storm passes. So out of nowhere, they appear a couple of meters in front of us. I manage to down two with some quick bursts, then I get hit in the head by a stray (or a really well aimed shot). As I go down, next to me, I see the others go down.
We may have lost the position, but that moment just touched me somehow. The way they charged out of the smoke, guns blazing...awesome.

6 jet tiangle formation flying, completely solid and locked up.. one time around Al Basrah's Movie Map with a bunch of people I'd never really met before and could only talk to on TS.
EDIT;
OH! .....and any time some new player races really hard to the LB beacuse he wants to try flying the toy helicopter.... and a whole load of people fill it up.. then he takes off and does like a backflip and crashes it into the water/carrier and they all punish him so he gets kicked.
Priceless.

Propably all the moments where half of the team have spotted an enemy squad or two and start spammin the **** out of that spot- shooting, nading, 203ing. Then the moment of silence when you try to see through the thick layer dust n shit floating in the air if someone is still alive.
But when I`m the one getting shot, 203d naded at- it`s even more awsome.
Sry for my crappy english.

nice one dunehunter, thats a great moment indeed!
ive had so many great moments on PR....
I remember most of them but its hard to put them on detail...
Hmmmm lets see,
It was a warm day during the end of summer. The crops in our area were ripe and the food was great. Our rice fields had a very good crop this year, with a good amount of rain. The American assaults have been relentless in other areas, but we have heard our countrymen have pushed back the pigs, and the American General Public support for this resource war was starting to demoralize their troops. We knew the americans had captured an area to the south of our HQ last night, we hardly slept through all the gunfire. We were alert for any intruders, I was the Squad Sergeant, directing my men to cover their arcs on the third floor of a unfinished government building. We were well prepared, with Claymores, landmines and remote explosives on all entrances to our structure.
We had heard fighting near the fishing area where our Armor reinforcements were said to be heading, so we grew tense. In the distance, the soft hum of a vehicle could be heard. We started scanning our crops very carefully, hoping to spot something. And indeed we did. Private Atlantafalcons was the one to first spot the targets with his binoculars, informing us first that there were 3, no, 4, no, 6 infantry on foot incoming in a loose extended line. I told my men to hold fire until they were at 100 meters, as the enemy had not spotted us yet and were moving up aggresively, almost carelessly it seemed. Yes, these were definitely Americans. At the 100 meter mark, I belted the Command 'FIRE!!!' and let them have it! Immediately the quiet mid-afternoon air was broken by the cracks of gunfire. The Americans seemed quite startled and all they could do was lay down on our crops. Our support gunnner reallly laid into them, keeping their heads to the dirt. Then I gave the command for atlantafalcons to let them have a taste of Chinese Weaponry, our ERYX launcher fired! This shook the entire building we were on, as dust was kicked up everywhere! After the dust cleared, our sniper on the 8th floor reported only 1 enemy troop was left, and he was hiding behind our toolshed. So I had the men keep sustained fire downrange as 2 of my squadmen moved out to clear him out. As they moved up, the sounds of the dying Americans in the field could be heard over the gunfire, it was a gruesome site. My 2 squadmen made their way around the shed, to find the 1 surviving American had bleed out in our toolshed, making a mess of everything. We piled the dead and injured into a pit we had used for garbage, and after killing the injured, we burnt the bodies then buried them. The whole battle had happened, and the Americans had never fired a shot. This gave us hope that truly, the Red Flag will always rule over our lands.

LOL FUZZ love it mate. Tis always great playing with the WAC squad, hats off to ya.
I know i had numerous great moments with my squad on the battlefield... but a PR moment a couple of days ago sticks in my mind....
Kirkland 2 (64), spawn in to the server as MEC, all squads are full, decide to lone wolf for 5 mins to gauge the battlefield b4 i start a squad.
MEC have all East flags US have all West plus centre flag.
I advance from the southern gas station towards the central flag, alone, cautious, afraid!
The water looks clear so does the far bank, there is constant fire, the battle is fierce. I swim to the bridge island, amazingly the us forces do not seem to be covering their southern flank. I make it to the island without a shot being fired in my direction.
I start crawling towards the crest of the road. I pier over, i can hear a number of us troops, but as i view the area only one is in view, a special forces troop firing frantically whilst taking cover behind one of the bridge walls.
I make a snap decision, i'm alone, i don’t know how large a force i'm coming upon and i'm behind them.
My knife comes out, as if by instinct, i am 10 feet away from my target, i cover the fisrt 5 feet in the open quickly, then i crouch, mainly to avoid blue on blue. He does not stand a chance, he is down, silent, never knew what happened.
There is still constant fire coming from the other side of the bunker between the two main roads across the river. My adrenaline is pumping, i keep my knife out, i move slowly but deliberately, i scan 4 maybe 5 troopers in the bushes around the flag pole, firing east., two more in the bunker, medics! I have to get these two first. I go in to the bunker, within 10 seconds both medics lie dead clutching each other...now my blood is pumping i get the blood lust, i move quickly coming straight down on the squad, the fools are totally unaware, their medics are dead and they think the threat in 150 yards east.
5 prone troopers die in succession, none of them even seeing my knife.
Oh ****, another medic comes around the bunker, 10 feet away, i pull my G3 off my shoulder, first burst takes him down, i'm surround by their dead, my silence in broken, more troops spot me, i never saw the shooter but i'm critically wounded, no squad , no medics, no help.
I was awarded my veteran knife award... my wife has it.

hehhehehe awesome madtommy!!! yea i love those knife kills, its great when you get the jump on the enemy and silently dispatch an entire squad while your buddies keep their heads down!
The great thing about knives too is that it 'kills' them, not just critically wounded... so you wont have to worry about their medics coming for revives

ye but you do have to worrie about there player cam following every step you make after you have killed them, so they might respawn and find you hideing under a bush they saw you crawle into just before they re spawned.'[R-CON wrote:fuzzhead']The great thing about knives too is that it 'kills' them, not just critically wounded... so you wont have to worry about their medics coming for revives

Playing on Mutrahh as MEC and defending the gas station. An unbelievable amount of noise and smoke, grenades and bullets pouring in from the US, choppers being hit by RPGs, claymores going off, utter madness. I hid on the corner directly north of the gas station, waiting to hear "thanks buddy I owe you one" from just around the bend, then G3 on full auto I duck round and take a couple out and duck back. I did this twice before retreating and Claymore'ing the corner. The US troops jump round guns blazing expecting me to still be there and BOOM!, it felt good for the 2 seconds I was alive before getting killed from the alley!
Worst moment? Tking MadTommy 3 times in quick succession a few weeks ago again on Muttrah, I was having a nervous, can't see anything properly kind of game. He was very magnanimous about it though and only laughed at me for about 5 minutes
