Game Crashes at the end of round

Post by TROOP3R »

I've posted this in the bug forum but no posts by any devs/mods of those sorts(only asking for us to post our system info but no replies since) so I thought id try here to get some more attention for this and hopefully a fix.

Posts from the other topic found here

I've recently started to get this bug when the round ends and when the scoreboard shows up underneath it shows the name map I was currently with a loading bar at 0% | Labels it shows this for a few seconds then crashes. Happens every time a server tries to change map for me.

This is a screenshot of what I see just before my game crashes

Steps to Reproduce:
Play
Round Ends
Server changes map
Game shuts down

Please look into this, it's very annoying to have to restart PR just to play another round.

Did you ever install ENB series or SweetFX tweaks? Do you use any other third party NVIDIA driver tweaker, like NVidia Inspector or anything?

Have you tried unplugging your secondary monitor, and completely disabling it in Hardware manager?

Have you tried running PR in windowed mode? If you get a CTD popup, screencap and post it please.

Have you tried playing vanilla BF2 and seeing if same CTD occurs? in windowed mode? If you get a CTD popup, screencap and post it please.

Are you running ANY type of overlay software? RAPTR, Overwolf, etc.

Running any type of Audio chat software ts3, skype etc? Are they set to audio input exclusivity?

I suggest completely deleting your GPU drivers using treexy's driverfusion, rebooting, then downloading the newest stable drivers direct from NVidia.com .

I have tried unplugging my second monitor, nothing changed.
I have tried reinstalling my drivers completely, nothing changed.
I have tried playing in window mode, didn't get a error message only got the typical "resource cleaning up" thing.
I do not have any overlays on when I play PR.
I do have TS3 up but I am not sure if my audio input is exclusive or whatever. Never had a problem with TS3 before.
Only nividia stuff on my computer is the Nividia Controller and GeForce Experience(updates drivers).
BF2 is fine. Going to completely uninstall it and reinstall(both vBF2 and PR)to see if it happens to do anything. Will check in again.

Edit: the vBF2 and PR reinstall didn't work. Still crash at the end of the round. :(
