I just got back into the game after not playing for a few years. Back then there were training maps. I believe I saw some servers with training maps on them but they were all passworded. Are they clan only or is there a community one that I'd be able to get the password for?
I didn't want to make a new thread in the general discussion just for this but I didn't see a 'new player' sub-forum or something similar. If i can't get access to any of those servers, is there any way for me to practice flying/operating vehicles without getting in the way on a full server?

Re: Training servers
Welcome back!
1. There are Coop servers with lasher rules. Try those
2. Create a local coop game and play singleplayer. Note: RCON mode can be activated in the launcher and you can spawn all sorts of stuff to test and do (here's a guide: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f189-m ... mands.html )
3. Create local game and try flying alone. RCON works as well.
4. There are trainings hosted for new players https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... ality.html

Re: Training servers
I'll try that out, thanks for the reply.
I also wanted to ask if there is a thread dedicated to improving fps? My game is plenty playable but I want to try and squeeze out all the FPS I can. Is there a config file to edit? Or any other thing to do besides playing on low?
I guess to that point, I would assume scaling back distance view should help, but I'm afraid to point myself at a disadvantage in combat. Is that something that affects snipers mostly when it's at max distance or is it probably advised to keep the settings on maximum?

Re: Training servers
I'd love to know if their is a thread dedicated to making the game smoother too, but for me best practice for vehicles is actually practicing on single player coop, if you're doing infantry then I was told that the best option is just play on normal servers and improve that way.
