I have an original CD, that not the case but when I drag the downloaded 1.41+1.5 patch (downloaded from Ancientman's link) and intall them (1.41+1.5) suddenly the BF2 stops working, when I open it and it jumps back to desktop.
Is there an issue that if after installing 1.41 you have to restart computer and same for 1.5?
Will wait for a concrete answer.
Of course PR don't start, it says Error 1311, which can't be fund in forum.

EDIT: Thanks God, I figured to fix the issue.The problem was that I haven't restarted after patched both 1.41+1.5
Anyway made me happy, to be able to do this alone.
The rest was simple, fast PR install, no more Error 1311, tested game on servers, running well.
