W8 FPS drop

Hey guys

I got this new laptop (yea its not for gaming) and I tried epic duper super PR but have problems I have massive fps drop in urban centers... Any ideas?

An I5 that only runs at 1.6? Is that normal?
I checked the Intel specs and it says up to 2.6 for yours is your laptop running on some power save mode?
Unfortunately PR is quite demanding game much more so that BF 2 and your computer's slow CPU and integrated graphics aren't quite up to it.

he has an i5-4200u. The U means ultra low voltage, so its designed for battery life, not power. You could t ry overclocking using Intel xtu or using throttlestop to make sure its running at full speed

Yes but most portables (mine included) do have various power settings including a performance one for when plugged in.
My first check would be that to verify its not stuck on power save mode.
