Problem when updating to 1.2.0.0

I hate a first post to start off on a bad note but I have been having a problem that I don't know how to fix and searching for similar cases has turned up nothing.

For a while I was unable to launch the new PR but finally managed to get it to update today but when it gets to about 45% on updating to v1.2.0.0 the launcher just closes, no error message, no nothing.

Now at first thought I suspected it was my anti-virus but then I didn't pop up with a message saying it blocked anything and it has the updater enable to do its thing.

I am really confused and would appreciate some help, I thought I had took a screen shot of the problem but apparently not so I'll launch it again and try to get it at the same instance again.

Check to see if you are running as administrator. I had this problem a while ago and that was the cause.

Also maybe temporarily shut off anti-virus

I usually run anything mod or game wise as admin and that's what I have been doing but that didn't work, I did try disabling my anti-virus but that did work until the application went wrong, closed then everything refused to work so I have restarted and am now doing several scans with the various virus protection stuff I have on my laptop.

I had this problem at one point, although that was quite a few versions ago.

I would do that but every time I launch the launcher it starts updating without going to the main screen.

Sorry for the double post but I have managed to get it working (not sure how) but now I have another problem.

When trying to update the launcher eventually says
"Error
68: Cannot read that as a ZipFile
levels\vadso_city\client.zip"

I'm going to try running it again and getting a screenshot as it closed before I could do so.
