I keep having a problem with my Saitek x52 throttle and want to change it to to work in the smart technology Saitek software instead of setting it in the game. I need to do this because I keep losing the throttle setting when I set it up in game and it's a pain trying to get it to work again. I have to end up reinstalling my Saitek driver and other thing daft like that.
The key for the throttle settings are W & S in the game, but how do I go about setting this in the Saitek software? Maybe someone has a Saitek profile they could link me to that has a throttle setting and I can set the rest of my keys up from there? Thanks!
Update: I cannot even set the X52 throttle now because it says "Duplicate key found" even though there is no key the same. Tried resetting controls in helicopter and still get the same "Duplicate key found." This is incredibly frustrating, so anyone know how to either fix the duplicate key thing? or link me to a Saitek that has the throttle, or even someone tell me how to set up the throttle in the Saitek Profiler? Thanks!

Re: Saitek Throttle problem
There's a setting inside the ST software to allow you to configure bands of an axis as continuous button presses. I don't have mine handy at the moment so I can't show you step by step but I know it's in there.
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.
The only winning move is not to play. Insurgency, that is.

Re: Saitek Throttle problem
Push ur Throttle forward to it's end when activate ur bottom setting.(Push forward means u replace W with increase throttle.)
I dont know if I made myself clear, but that's how i deal with mine.
Since throttle in PR react very slowly. I recommend u use W and S instead.

Re: Saitek Throttle problem
Do you have a normal x52 or a x52 Pro? Can make a difference when it comes to running with PR as the x52 pro is somewhat supported with PR but the software normally gets screwed up...
Do you also have any other game controllers plugged in? Rudder Pedals or a steering wheel etc and when you program the other axis on the controller do they work?
You also want to avoid the Saitek programming software as much as you can as it tends to screw up a lot in my experience and it wont do axis at all well though it, which tbh the only way I know of is to make an axis emulate a mouse axis and then you program the axis ingame to be one of those mouse axis but then if you move your mouse it affects it too...
