Viewing the map on battlerecorder

Post by AlonTavor »

Is there a way?

Could I potentially edit some files to achieve this?

Would it potentially be possible by editing some hud files or memory editing something? Or is it really hard coded in such way that it would be too much work?

Feel free to dig in. I just doubt it's possible.

I doubt its possible to get an ingame map working with Battle Rec and if it is possible, it certainly isn't going to be easy to do.

What do you want it for, do you just want to see all the players on the map and see how they moved round the battle during the game or do you just want help navigating or just finding where the action is?

If you want to see where the players where around the map and how the battle played out though the map, then your best bet is to go around the Battle Rec and make a python script that records the players locations, what vehicles they are in etc. I've seen this done in the past but you can no longer get those scripts or they are still private so you will probably need to look at making your own, and then getting the server to run it.

If you want help navigating around a map or w/e, this might help: Project Reality: BF2 Map Gallery
