Critical error while trying to update.

You have your update files in a directory that is set to a Read Only state.

OPen PRLauncher->Options->Global Tab->See the "Update DOwnload Location", click Browse.

1. Report back where this directory is located please.

2. The usual fix:

Windows Explorer window with the Project Reality\Project Reality BF2 directory will open.

Right Click The Downloads folder, Properties, Find the Attribute "Read Only" Tickbox, and UNTICK IT. CLICK APPLY.

Restart PRLauncher, and try to Update.
