Penalties for lonewolfs!

Pr should punish more non-teamplaying players, so that they would join a squad and play for the team.
My suggestion would be to give a advantage for the squadmembers by keeping the respawn time as 30s+(1*X)=respawn time (X=deaths).
AND the non-squad players should be punished for not being in a squad by raising their respawn time. Every time they die, they should be punished with longer spawning times. The raise should be like 3 to 5 seconds.
30s+(5*X)=respawn time.
With this, players would stick more to the squad and avoid kicking from the squad.
I like the long spawning times, but I hate waiting for respawn. Thats why I try to stay alive.

That would go down well on servers with no admin around when the squad bug rears it's awful head! especially when only one side is suffering from it!
The server in question, till admin come along, will be utterly unplayable.
Nice idea, but unfortuantely the vBF2 bug prevents anything being done like that

I don't like the idea. What would prevent people from just making a squad of their own? Then we would just end up with 10 squads per team.
And being in a squad doesn't mean that you are a teamplayer, I see people just join a squad (probably to get their hands on the limited kits) without any intention of playing as a squad.

It could be only lifted by being in a squad with a minimum number of people. So you can't just make a squad of your own, you'd have to be in a squad of at least 3 people to lift the spawn time punishment.
I think it's a great idea.

One thing I see working is some sort of a score multiplier. Say, lonewolfs don't get much pts. The more people in your squad, the more pts you get so say:
If you're alone : 2 pts. for a kill.
If you're with a squad of 3: 5 pts. for the kill.
Full Squad: 10 pts. for the kill or something like that

.
I'm not much of a score whore, I just like to kill a lot. It just feels a lot better when you have squad members that see how you do it.

Actually most of us are hoping to completely remove in-game scoring. Personally I'd like to see scores completely removed in general, and just only having kill-death counts being shown at the end of the game only.
That's just me, though.

As far as I know the score board will be removed in v0.5 and only be shown at the end of a round...
That will hopefully improve the gameplay.

Oh nice! I've always wanted the scoreboard removed. I always felt that thing was a 'backdoor' to the removed kill messages. I'll admit I've used that countless times to make sure whoever I shot was killed. I feel like removing it is just gonna make the game atmosphere much more thrilling.
I cna't think of any ideas to 'punish' lone wolfers lol. But the scoreboard thing is great news!

Not keen on the idea, Lone wolfs can go do their own thing, I really don't give a ****. The last thing I want to see is people jumping into a squad because they have to, then just lone wolfing anyway.

Would like to see limited kits being limited to one of each in a squad too, to prevent these one ma or two man sniper squads.

The thing is that, if lonewolfers dont play as a teamplayer, the SL will kick him from the squad and the loners will get longer respawn times.
If player doesn't follow the orders, he'll be kicked and becomes a soloplayer with longer respawn penalties.
With this, players will join squads and still try to play as teamplayers.
P.s Should learn more to write english

It's a bit crappy now
