Graphics is always set to low

Hi, I have a problem with graphics in PR2 ver. 1.2.0.0.Every option is set to high but the graphics still looks awful and I don?t think that it is ok.Just look at the image


Is this ok?Help plese.

In the launcher go to custom graphics and when you set to high press apply then done,should work.that screenshot looks awful btw

Try going to options, reset all profiles (be sure to back up custom controls somewhere if you have them) then retrying.

Did you raise antialiasing to 8x (Which is right side of display settings) Or are you using custom settings on graphic card driver settings?

edit: Also pic is 1915x1080. I think you are using 1920x1080 monitor. Maybe there can be another problem too.

After profile reset it looks different now but I still don't know if this is the high option.

I also enabled some super anti-aliasing and texture filtering in AMD Catalyst Control Center.
Spectrium: There is no problem with resolution in game I just used MS Paint to edit the image because there was also a screen of my second monitor.

It looks like every my mod and also game have this problem with shadows.

I got same problem, it was due to read only acces on some files.

The only solution i found was :
Untick "read only acces" on the windows folder : C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles.
You need to "Reset all profiles" on Launcher Option menu.

Maybe you need to untick read only aigain, not sure.


Then recreate a profile.

When I untick it, save it and then check it again it is ticket still ticked is there a way to permanently untick it?

Yes i know you can't have it all read only. But by doing this you will allow some to recover the proper rigth the time to modify/create new profile.
I don't know why but on my computer, PR.exe cannot overwrite .con file if locked last month.

By the way, My document\Project relality\...\Profiles\Default\video.con, what do you have ?

Same question for My document\Project relality\...\Profiles\001\video.con

Don't change the 2 last line, mean 100% view distance and custom option. Other is level of detail (1 for low , 2 for medium and 3 for high).

Both my profile 001 and Defaut got the same setting on video.con
If you have different you need delete and reset all profile.

It might be shader problem. You could try deleting cache folder in My Documents\ProjectReality\mods\bf2 or in My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2.
