Another can't hear Mumble thread, tried a lot of things on forum

Post by Dude_Nukem »

EDIT: SOLVED, problem was easier to fix than I thought, which ofc happens 80% of the cases. Glad it works now. Adjusted the right device in volume mixer, with properties, had to choose about 3-4 different ones tho.

Problem: Can't hear ppl in prMumble, ppl can hear me.

Tried a lot of things that were suggested in the forum.

Strangely enough Audio wizard works, when not in-game. But Audio Wizard wont give the sound feedback when in-game.

Even more odd, once prmumble did not work in-game but when I ONLY opened Audio Wizard, suddenly I could hear ppl. But when I closed the Wizard, I couldnt hear them anymore. Only worked once.

People can hear me in-game. I can't hear them all time.

Also, my mumble worked perfectly fine 1 day ago, after some restarts.

I did not change anything nor installed any program of some kind those days, nor hardware tweaks.

Things I tried:
-Audio Wizard, tick advanced, network: force TCP mode, disable use Quality of Service (this: https://www.mumbleboxes.com/faqs/13-...hange-channels)
-Restarted PR Mumble several times
-Select right device ofc
-Turning off Anti-Virus, (I uninstalled it)
-Checked if volume is up, it is in Mumble. It also is up in default volume mixer of Windows 7.
-Reinstalled PR completely

Tried some more things, can't remember atm. Will be edited too.

Danm it feels stupid :/.

(Would be great if I can fix this problem for tonight's event :) )
