What servers are kewl nowdays?

Hey everyone.

So I'm looking for a more or less laid back server to start playing a bit again.
Should have some action packed, mostly ground wars type map with a lot of infantry and some vehicles.

Mostly English peeps, European/North European IP, generally open squads.

The best servers are the ones that have people playing on them! We don't have loads of choice tbh, and their characteristics vary by time of day etc. So my advice would be to join the server with the best ping and most people. Then use !rules in the chat to make sure you don't accidentally break any house rules.

The most commonly used servers for Europe are probably NEW & PRTA. Make sure your mic works and have fun!

Hmm! So PR for BF2 is almost dead? what about for ARMA?

I guess PR2 is also dead. But then I heard about a new game being developed instead, Squad I think it's called. I guess they saw some money to be made instead of being a free game, how is that going?

There are 260 players currently, I wouldnt call this dead.

as long as you have 64 players on a server you can have a great time. We are still far from those low numbers

You should look into NEW & PRTA indeed. Most active EU servers atm.

Ok im in But with a different name, my old BF2 name. Anyway looks good, aiming feels fine actually, I think its a bit more natural then before when I quit. Sadly you can't pick up enemy kits anymore!!!!

WAAAT! I'm an insurgent, my whole point is to re-arm myself with the fallen remains of my enemies. But oh well GL HF all! See you on the other side.

Having ALOT of problems with crashing servers nowdays. Happened for 3 days straight now. Both HOG and EU

At least for the time being, server crashes are something you will have to just accept. It happens on Veterans Gaming, PRTA, HOG...pretty much everywhere i've been. It's not super frequent but when it happens it's annoying.
