NON-torrent ? please?!

Hello everyone.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this , and I'm not even sure if I'm missing something , but I'm tired of searching and finding nothing.
I have the game itself. I have all patches... now all I need is the mod , but there's only a torrent link in the downloads section.
cool ! but the problem is that I'm living in a dormitory inside the university , and university's network has somehow blocked all torrent downloads. so the download gets stuck at 0%. "connecting to peers" or something like that.

I've searched a lot and came up with nothing. can anyone help me out here ?

This worked for me earlier (was downloading other stuff). It's a proxy setup.

e: my ISP was "sort of" blocking p2p. With proxy DL speed was much greater.

Still doesn't work.
I mean it works , but gives me a crappy speed. I tried the resolution said on that web page ... still no hope.

After trying for a couple days i finally was able to get BF2 to start launching for me. Now i find that the desura version of PR doesn't want to work. trying to download the torrent leaves me at "connecting to peers 0.0%" with no progress ever. I am seeding other torrents fine so i know it's not a connection issue on my side. Is there any other way to get v1.2 downloaded? I have been seriously itching to play this game after seeing the Squad videos of late and watching some people play it on youtube.

try the torrent download first. It is faster and not going to break if interrupted.
if torrent doesn't work, use the mega link
