missiles for insurgents/militia

what about some improvised artillery missiles like the Hezbollah used for insurgents or the upcoming militia
example
should be deployable in a pickup-kit because it's better for the hit and run tactics (build it up, shot some salves and relocate at another position)
will there be some real missile artillery like MLRS later? i saw the render but it looked older

That artillery looks like something i could build in garry's mod in about 5 minutes, lol. I doubt the bf2 engine supports deployable weapons like that, and if it did, it would probably be a pain for the devs to create.

Maybe it could replace the artillery or something? Or use a similar system? Would be a pain in the *** to aim I'm afraid.

weren't there deployable mortars in Rising Conflicts?

I love the idea, its mine too
And not only hezbollah uses them.

Maybe something along the lines of that would be nice in PR. Ahh rocket attack! And forget the precision artillery point and click, you lay the rocket down, point it up, light fuse. Visual aiming ftw.

Yeah, but all you had to do was throw it down and enter it.

they also have RPG-29's
...The warhead is extremely powerful, and in tests conducted against T-80 and T-90 tanks it penetrated the tanks over their frontal arcs...
Penetration performance:
* Rolled homogeneous armor (after reactive armor effects): 750 mm (30 in)
* Reinforced concrete or brick: 1,500 mm (59 in)
* Log and earth fortification: 3,700 mm (146 in)

If the insurgents had that.. mmmm...
1 hit 1 kill on any tank

supposedly 1 hit kill on the frontal armor of a T90. but thats alot of speculation and it wouldnt be any more powerfull than the eyrx in game now.
make the insergents good for bashing the MEC.

also the armor of russian tanks is much weaker than that of western tanks - just look at the weight differences between a t80/90 and a leo2a6/m1a2

Really 1 shot from an RPG29 could take a Challenger 2 or M1A2 some how i dont belive this...

there is at least one m1a2 that has been taken out in iraq by a single rpg (verified) - but that was a "golden rpg". also, i know the site that states that an rpg-29 can penetrate the front armor of a t-80 and stuff, but even then, i doubt the tank was destroyed - rather damaged or so.
rpgs pose less of a threat to challengers and abrams, yet that doesnt mean they can´t destroy/damage it

theres a case where a challenger 2 bogged down took sustained rpg fire for about a hour before being pulled out.
no modern tank can survive a frontal hit from another modern tank at a range of less than 800 meters which was a shock to me when i heared it.

yeah, usually the tanks are rpg-proof
but i´m not shure about that frontal hit thing - really depends on what, i´m not shure wether for example a challenger 2 couldnt take a heat round from another tank (but would be possible)

the leopard 2 uses a composite armor - the exact composition is secret, but there is no depleted uranium in it.
funny thing is, that most people won´t believe me this, including the guys from wikipedia.com, that claim that it uses perforated steel. now, i know, some might say i have no source and all such - but actually, i emailed the friggin german army and asked them and they replied "in der tat verwended der leopard 2 eine kompositpanzerung" (translation: "indeed the leopard 2 uses a composite armor") - but noooo, they don´t believe it (*morons*).
the newer versions (a4/a5/46/s/pso/m and so on) all feature additional armor, which i dont think is of composite nature, but i could be wrong.
due to the "lack" of du (which the german government decided not to implement due to several reasons) the armor is somewhat inferior (but not too much) compared to the challanger and the m1a2, but the tank has other qualities
