Be the biggest cog in the well oiled machine. How to be more effective in PR.

I don't know how many times I have heard it.. "The server is clan stacked!". I look at player list and see 1 clan with 5 people on. That squad usually is the top squad but does having 5 people on one side really make that big of a difference? I mean the servers host 100 players, does that mean that 95% of the server is not doing anything to support their team? Of course not. I think though that those 5 people might have a better understanding of what is needed to win games than the other 95 though. Here are some of the things we do in prWARs to be the biggest cog of a well oiled machine.
Run a good trans squad.
Despite popular belief, a "good" trans squad doesn't mean that you can fly across Muttrah upside down, or land on a 80 degree angle. It means to have a good understanding on where you troops are, and getting them crates. A lot of times you will see trans sit on their pads not doing anything, its my belief that if you have a crate, you should drop it off. Crates aren't just used for building fobs, they are a good resource for getting kits and refilling vital assets like HAT/LAT kits. On a typical night, prWARs will run trans with Sprint squad leading. He gets fobs up fast and has a really good idea of what the team needs in terms of assets. I have seen our team win more form having a good trans squad than from any other factor.
Play with the same people every night.
You don't have to join a clan or join a community, but play with the same people every day. Join their coms or join the server's coms. This game has an amazing community, take part it in. I have been playing with the same guys for years and years. It makes a huge difference.
Ditch the sniper kit.
In the years of playing PR, I have never once came across a situation where I thought "man, I'm glad that guy in my squad had a sniper kit". The kit has a place in the game, not in my squad though. If someone has a hard on for long range shots, a marksman is a better choice for a squad in my opinion.
Mortars win rounds.
Simple as that. If you have a commander who works with you, you can have mortars dropped on any point in the map before that point has a chance to be effective. On Muttrah, we generally have mortars dropping on the heads of people who don't even have their fobs dug up yet. Plain and simple, mortars/UAV are the most overpowered thing in the game.
Realize that you aren't going to win every game.
You will crash your trans, you will get shot in the face, your mortars will get counter mortared, you will die spawning in, you will get TKed, you will have to deal with squads who are worthless, and you will get frustrated. Don't quit. The game was very well designed and there are usually counter measures to every aspect of the game. Opposing team have a dominating CAS squad? Jump in that AA vehicle and patiently take a safe position to take a few down. Tanks rolling over your team? Get a good FOB set up with a tow. It might not always work, but it's better than quitting the round. Remember that you get better playing against players/situations that are better than you. You will never get better if you always win.
Thats it for now. Thanks for reading!
