hello,
since project reality 1.3 will be standalone, i like to hear your opinions.
is project reality still a mod or atleast part of battlefield 2 for you ?
IMO, project reality was never really a mod for me, but rather a whole new game with some battlefield aspects and which needed battlefield 2 to run. project reality was and is unique and miles away from battlefield 2. now with the 1.3 release, in my eyes its now fully independence from battlefield 2 and its a own game which uses some bf2 assets and has some battlefield aspects but i dont see project reality as part of bf2 and never saw it as a mod.
do you count project reality still as a mod or part of battlefield 2 ?

It was always a different game to me.
I paid 6 times as much for PR as I did for vbf2.

Story time! I heard about PR, when I saw a gameplay footage by a youtuber named DarkLiberaterZone and a montage footage by threatty later on, which was years ago. I thought to myself "It seems like a pretty fun mod," but I didn't download it until I saw the Falklands addon trailer which was posted later on realitymod's channel a few weeks later. The reason why I decided then to get was because coincidently, I was writing a report part of an assignment for my English course I had for college. Ever since then I been hooked on it (though, I haven't played it recently,) ut to answer the question, I see the mod as a separate game and genre then a mod itself, because like it says on the banner of this website "it's realistic gaming re-defined."
