Win 7 Project Reality: BF2 Launcher has stopped working

Hey guys,

So I recently installed PR after the new 1.3 update and it has been running fine until now. I got home and booted up my computer, then I instantly started up PR. My screen froze for a second, then I got the "Project Reality: BF2 Launcher has stopped working" error. If anyone knows how to fix it that would be great. Thanks

Post your system specs please:
PRLauncher->support->copy to clipboard button
paste everything here.


Also, PRLauncher->Options-bottom left Reset All profiles button, click it. click APply.
shut PRlauncher
restart PRLauncher
run PR to test.

That's one of the problems, I can't even start up the launcher. I re-downloaded the entire ISO file and it worked, but when I quit and attempted to rejoin it stopped working again.

What antivirus and firewall do you have?
The antivirus was probably in isntallation mode, when you quit PR, the antivirus returned to standard mode, and blocked PRlauncher.exe and PRBF2.exe

I only have the default antivirus that comes with Win 7. I know that's really stupid of me but I never got around to buying one or finding a free version.

This sounds like a really random occurrence. , I'd suggest reinstalling Visual C++ , and the .NET framework first. Next, If you still ahve the PR 1.3 .iso file , I'd reinstall PR.

sounds like PR shutdown incorrectly and some file got corrupted, very hard to tell from what little info you gave me.
