I've been having this issue for so long now. Only workaround is to restart and immediately launch the game on boot within 5-10 seconds otherwise I get the error "stopped responding".
Now, I've tried every single possible fix I could find on here the past month but to no avail.
Windowed mode does not give an error. Still just the same "not responding".
