No In-Game Menus

When I start up PR I get as far as the little cinematic showing the in-game stuff, but I can't get past that.... it just keeps repeating. I'm assuming this is the backdrop for the main in-game menu?

It's the opening splash video.

Have you tried reinstalling?

No, but could it be an issue with resolution?

A How-To Guide to Post Your PC System Specifications

Step 1: Launch Project Reality.

Step 2: Click on "Support"

Step 3. The Project Reality: BF2 Support window will pop up. Click on "Copy to Clipboard".

Step 4: Paste it into your forum post on the PR forums.

Step 5: Keep an eye on your help thread. Hopefully, a helpful PR forum user will be able to help you.
