Today I updated to Windows 10 and updated some drivers. I started up PR to see if everything was okay and I noticed that when I did a Mic Check in the Audio Options that my microphone sounded distorted and "roboty", not recognizable at all.
This isn't a microphone issue since I've done mic checks in the properties section and on Skype and it sounds perfectly normal. Not sure why this is happening only on PR.
I haven't tested it ingame yet, I presume it would be the same.
Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

title has "PR only"
body of post says 'haven't tried in game yet"
Right click your microphone, go into properties, go to microphone effects and disable everything.

right click on the speaker icon in the system tray lower right by the clock
Select recording devices
right click on microphone
select properties
unselect all features
check how it sounds
recheck in game
if it still plays up look in mumble audio input settings whilst ingame
