Can't spawn after "give up"

Whenever I give up while I'm bleeding out I can't spawn. I've tried to deselect my spawnpoint and to reopen the kit selection screen and so on. When I was wounded, revived and then killed dead a second time I could spawn just fine. This is making the game completely unplayable.

Are you sure you're not using a restricted kit that is already at the limit, or there aren't enough players in the squad for you to use that kit? If your spawn timer is showing something like 5999, this is probably the case. Try selecting a rifleman kit.
