Auto balance off is not working in co-op.

I've just downloaded this game and tried to play with my friend and I can't get on the same team with him even though after using the !ab off command. I've been trying multiple commands but can't even make the auto balance off yet.

32 bots. I've tried playing around with the ratio like 50-50, 40-60 but it doesn't work.

ratio should always be max. Try that.
