I've noticed that after you fire a missile from a TOW emplacement the smoke from the missile will obscure your view for several seconds and can cause you to miss a target. I don't know if this is intentional or not but it seems like the missile is being launched right in front of the scope so that the smoke trail immediately obscures the view instead of where the missiles are actually fired from, down and to the right of most launchers.
Unsure if this can be fixed or not but it's incredibly annoying and has caused me to miss a couple important shots.

This has already come up: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f252-pr-bf2-feedback/139367-atgm-smoke.html

Gonna lock this, use the above thread if you want to add anything else[R-DEV]M42 Zwilling wrote:It's not intentional. It seems to be a side effect of moving all the effects to the missile itself to fix another bug, now the smoke puffs etc. from the launch are playing too far forward in most cases. It's on the list to be fixed for the next version.![]()
