sometimes yes . teams suck bad
but i play a lot round of 1.5 hour +

Played Hades Peak large layer earlier and our jets went down within the first 5 minutes they were up, didn't even get a chance to respawn before the map ended.

The only map that ends too quickly is Charlie's Point. That always ends in about 30 - 45 minutes.

15-20 min outcap (all flags capped) is pretty extreme steamroll. It happens time to time. Playing LRG layouts usually lasts 50-70 minutes even if another team blows, idk how good gaming experience is then.

We played a large layer of Beruit last night and it went on for just over 2hrs. I think very few people set the 128 layers, partly due to worries about crashes. Good game tho, IDF won by 13 tickets which was pretty good balance

Yeah I remember when it was very uncommon for Kashan to last under 90 minutes. Now it usually ends before or just in time for the second wave of assets to spawn. And that's the case with other 4km maps as well. 2km maps seem to last long enough to not end fast and short enough to not get boring which is not the case with 4km.

Christ no, extending rounds back to the 4 hour slugging matches of previous versions would be horrific. Some of us would like the chance to play more than a single map when we load up PR.

No, Large layers have always ended up in a steamroll for me, waiting at the enemy's last flag to bleed them out. I don't know why or how, but that's what I've experienced in 90% of the LRG layers I've played.

One of the threads I read around here a few months ago here had plenty of people saying how much they liked the new hour an half matches.
Some people are just feeling nostalgic for that epic feeling you get once in awhile from a single long 4 hour battle.

I think admins just need to !runnext if it turns really one sided and a team just waiting on a bleed for lots of tickets. I do, also DJ'ing

Ill pull a track midway if its a looser, no point flogging a dead horse.
