Installer missing d3dx_25.dll

I recently installed 1.3 (that's what I had on an HD) on a fresh install Vista32 (300 updates installed but maybe not all), when first trying to run the game I get d3dx9_25.dll missing.
I look around the install file and find some kind of directX installer in dependancies but no go it's only when downloading and running this:

that the game started.

Its OK for me as I know in the event of a non start to re run directx, C++ and .NET installers but for many others it may pose more of a problem, can't these three be put into the installer to run automatically.

Or even in a help file together with a quick explanation down on the other frequent install no go resolution and refresh mismatch.

You didn't read it did you? I am fine others may have more of a problem.

Some but I have the opinion that most computers used for gaming will already have DirectX from other games. So anyone who is running into DirectX problems may not be a regular gamer and thus not know about this.

I think ancientman? has put some dx in the install files but seems it needs more .... 1.4 is coming ....

1.3.5 has the full dx redist install iirc.
