Found this long time ago actually, but since BF2 is no more, maybe the creators and owners of these models and mod won't refuse if we ask them to give permission to implement ka52 model into PR? How hard it is to adapt it to PR. Since its a ready bf2mesh model, all that is needed is coding to set damage parameters, speed, sound replacing, putting in guided rockets etc? How long does it take, how complex it is?
Finding and contacting the creators would be a job though. Before trying to do that just wanted to know if its possible to use.

Considering he posted some updates a month ago I think its safe to assume that he is working on it however, the mod is meant to emulate BF3 and BF4 so I don't think the assets would fit in too well even if he was willing to just give them to the PR devs. This isn't my expertise but that's my two cents if its worth anything to anyone.

What if we make it ourselves?,it will surely take time but there will be no objections afterwards except if the Devs don't want it in game.

Would love to see how the rotors would work (both spinning in the opposite direction of course). But isn't the Ka-52 kind of rare of an attack helicopter for the Russians? And the Mi-28 being more common and still being made.
Through I would love to see how it would function if anything would be different from the standard CAS choppers we already have.

Through I have to say that it wouldn't make it right if we stole his content even through he stole content from PR. It's not uncommon for mods to steal from other high effort mods such as PR (even in other games).
Through I have to say his animations (for vehicles) do look nice (skins are too flashy through, and the shaders are ugly as fuck). It would still be better if a community member or dev made the model and skin themselves instead of slandering the PR reputation.

There must be some kind of misunderstanding. I'm not saying to steal it, absolutely not. I mean, is it realistically possible to implement it if I got the permission? (I'm trying to contact the dude now, its possible he isn't the one who modelled it but took from someone else and compiled his mod).

Just talked to mod creator. It isn't his, its imported from arma2. Sigh* Gonna have to create ourselves... Guess, its time to continue learning 3dsmax.
