Unable to find Bf2 Root Directory AND Check Network Connection
The game starts just fine, and I'm able to actually start single player maps. When I try to directly connect to an IP it tells me that I'm unable to connect and to check my network connection. When I use the server browser Project Reality: PRSPY it tells me it's unable to find root directory, and to reinstall Project Reality. I've installed PR three times so far. How do I fix this? I've used dozens of other forum posts as reference and every one that has a problem similar to mine either never gets fixed or is representative of a different issue the user was having with the same error. I'm at my wits end at this point and I really just want to play PR.

Starting the game through PRSpy does not work. It was used in old versions and never got updated to the new Launcher.
You should not need to join through IP. To play online launch PR as you do for single player, click deployment and then internet. If needed use Update List. For online coop do the same, but instead of deployment go to Co-operative first.
