VPN/Proxy service for PR?

Post by kao016039 »

Hi I'm Kao (in-game : Cpl.Kao). I've been playing PR for almost 2 years, but just joined in the forum today. I've some questions regarding VPN service

I've been playing like 200-400 ping all the time. I'm seeking the way to improve connection with server. I've heard that someone using VPN service such as SoftEther but I've no idea how to get it into action, and if WTFAST do any good?

Do you guys have any suggestion for VPN service? or any suggestion to improve connection?

More information:
- I'm from Thailand. (hint: some where in SEA)
- My favorite server is Free Candy Van and PRTA's server.
- Chinese's server is about 300-500 ping for me either. (Someone already asked me this question)

Sorry if this thread is not match the forum section.

A VPN/Proxy will not most likely not improve your ping, it will only make it worse since your connection has to travel to the VPN, get processed and sent to the server as opposed to sending it directly.

That's depends on ISP retards through, f.e. some ukranian players on russian servers has routes ukraine->germany->russia.
VPN could improve connection in such situations.

Although we're all obey physics, and thailand cables shouldn't be reaching more than speed of light :)

assetruler69: I've seen things you smurfs wouldn't believe. Apaches on the Kashan. I watched burned down tank hulls after the launch of the single TOW. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Time to give up and respawn.

That's more a matter of access rather than stability and speed though, right?
