Help with US Carrier
Hi , i am making a map with a carrier as the main spawn of the us forces versus mec forces. I just need help on how to navmesh the carrier because the spawnpoints and vehicles seem to go red., can anyone help me with this matter?

yes it is..[R-DEV]Outlawz7 wrote:I take you navmeshed the map and everything else is covered by it except the carrier?
and i also tried navmeshing the whole map including the carrier with spawnpoints on it but it resulted in generating another island so i removed the spawnpoint and re navmeshed it again.. but when i tried to put spawnpoints on the carrier , it shows red and also the vehicles except the boats in the water

Re: Help with US Carrier
You need to connect the carrier with the rest of the map by placing a ramp at the bottom deck that connects the carrier interior with the sea so that the carrier navmesh is connected with the rest of it.
Bots can't climb ladders so if there's a place only reachable by ladder like the carrier is, you'll need to place ramps in order to have a connected navmesh. Mods like AIX have special statics for this but anything you can construct a ramp out of like metal plates, walls etc. will do.

Is that a pavelow and can we have it? Would make an excellent crate pooper for Germans and possibly a heavy crate pooper for USMC on smaller maps.

Its AIX, so bot only.LiamNL wrote:Is that a pavelow and can we have it? Would make an excellent crate pooper for Germans and possibly a heavy crate pooper for USMC on smaller maps.

But isn't it possible to do a trade for it and modify it for general purpose use? In my mind such a thing is too good to pass up, especially as it can be used by more than 1 faction (through 2 isn't a lot).[R-DEV]Mats391 wrote:Its AIX, so bot only.

It will simply not work with human pilots. Would require lots of work at which point we might as well make our own.LiamNL wrote:But isn't it possible to do a trade for it and modify it for general purpose use? Through you would at least have a model to work with, and possibly some textures depending on how well they made them. So that is quite some work already done, through refitting everything to PR standards would probably add quite some work as well. Through I have never developed anything so I wouldn't know.[R-DEV]Mats391 wrote:It will simply not work with human pilots. Would require lots of work at which point we might as well make our own.
