Can't get the Alt kits! and static object placement.

The new SP map pack seems to restrict you from using alt kits, eventhough you can select alt kit from spawn screen or the crate,but when you spawn or pick up the kit,you'll have the standard one.

The static transmission tower on the "Mercs Desert Wars",near the Opfor base is floating few feets above the ground.
