Land Rover support exit locations

I was killed twice in one round exiting the unarmed landrover while it was still moving (relatively slowly). Obviously it's my fault but I was wondering if the exit locations are closer to the vehicle than with other vehicles which would lead to this, or if I was just unlucky today.
