Rifleman AP detonator disapears

Description:
Detonator disapears when trying to detonate before the detonator has charged. No explosion and you cannot equip the detonator again. The mine can be retrieved with shovel and deployed again. Then you have the detonator back.

Steps to Reproduce:

Place a claymore. When done the detonator is equipped (automatically or manually at a later time). Press fire just as detonator is equipped. The detonator is pressed, nothing happens and the next weapon is equipped.

Tested On:
Al Basrah ***, offline as brittish forces.
Ramiel insurgency online as ARF

Discovered when:
Facing a full squad in tight formation waiting outside the cache 10 m from my claymore... :(

This is a feature, not a bug.

Really? Why is it like that? It sounds strange to me that pressing the button to early means giving up all possibility to detonate that claymore without first retrieving it and placing it again.

In my opinion, if you press the button to early nothing should happen and pressing it again after a while should detonate the mine.

My memory betrayed me. It was the 5 second arming time that rendered the mine useless. Not the time after picking up the detonator as I thought. I thought I had tested on a mine older than 5 seconds but I must have been mistaken. Sorry.

Feel free to remove this thread.
