Description:
So I was squad leading on grozny, I had a rally point on the third floor and about 70 meters away. It seems like guys are spawning on my rally and being moved to the fob but falling from the third floor.
Steps to Reproduce:
Build a fob, place a rally nearby about 20m+ above the Z cord of the fob, get someone not in your squad to spawn on the rally and watch them die.
Tested On:
Grozny cq alt

Not sure if its related. But I've found that if you place a rally point below a FOB that people aren't moved to the FOB.
For example, putting a rally point in a cave and building a rally point above the cave. When people spawn on the rally point, they wont be moved to the fob located above.

Yea it checks horizontal distance, I'll ask around if intended.FFG wrote:Not sure if its related. But I've found that if you place a rally point below a FOB that people aren't moved to the FOB.

Edit: Actually I see the logic in it. If its placed under a fob, The players will only see one dot on the map and might select the wrong rally by accident. As the engine teleport function is buggy (might put you 50m above ground), we want to avoid teleporting players, and only do it to players who still didn't realize they're not allowed to spawn there,
Speaking of which, I was actually trying to completely disallow spawning when a wrong rally is selected the other day, but it seems like DICE didn't finish the API that lets you see which spawn point is selected, not sure if possible yet.
