PR2 isn't coming out from what I've seen. Unless there's been some kind of change?

Well I wouldn't consider it commercial in a quasi-real sense (Read that as in EA...ha). Also it's still in overall development. Squad is like PR in that you would get a chance to grow as a player with the game much like some of us have with PR. And that's worth the few dollars spent for the game. Also these guys haven't made much if not any revenue for building PR for us. Squad gives them the just reward for their effort. Just do it brother...you'll be glad you did I promise.lakinen wrote:Ok tnx

That's not really in any way related to PR anymore.doop-de-doo wrote:ARMA 3: Project Reality

Squad isn't related to the PR DEV team at all, apart from the fact that the studio was created by some retired PR Dev's.JohnnyPissoff wrote:Well I wouldn't consider it commercial in a quasi-real sense (Read that as in EA...ha). Whats the big issue with it being commercial as long as it is a non recurring fee? Think of the money it safes you by keeping you from going out to socialise and drink.

IDK, I guess some people just want everything for free. Squad is the closest thing we will get to PR for the current gen, I don't think I've read/heard about any other games attempting what they are. Sure they are plenty of FPS games to get into, but tactical and brutal gameplay is something mainstream dev teams stray away from. People enjoy their high TTK and flavor of the month games, but PR and Squad seem to retain a decent player base of people who enjoy teamwork and objective play who can't scratch that itch anywhere else.

did anyone tell you that you're really funny Murphy? because you are! (he's not wrong though, both games have an alright-ish playerbase due to how the game works)Murphy wrote:PR and Squad seem to retain a decent player base of people who enjoy teamwork and objective play who can't scratch that itch anywhere else.
