-You have to launch the server with bots, you can't change them mid-game.
-I'm pretty sure local actually accepts connections from outside, configure your router properly and tell them to use "join ip"

Hey, you can use Hamachi, it's pretty reliable, there is a similar thread already existing, take a look: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f311-c ... rough.htmllaiki wrote:Hello Community! i want to play with 2 others friends PR offline, can i create a local game and then add "X" number of Bots? what is the correct command for add bots from console?

But if you don't want to go through the hassle above, you can just find an empty/low server with relatively good ping and be fine. Some of them have mapvotes, so you can pick the map the traditional BF2 style.
The COOP community is usually quiet, so you(and your friends) most likely won't be bothered while playing there.

Do not use hamachi. Especially not with the recent SMB exploit.IronFist wrote:Hey, you can use Hamachi, it's pretty reliable, there is a similar thread already existing, take a look: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f311-c ... rough.html
Learn to operate your router and open your ports properly. Don't create security holes by putting yourself in lan with other people.
There are tons of exploits out there nowadays after the NSA leak.

as Tavor said you could try port forwarding - i've never tried it for PR but I know for a fact that port forwarding > hamachi.
i have always been disgusted by hamachi, personally.

Port forwarding on your router/modem is the way to go. I've hosted a server at home for playtesting a lot of times, works perfectly. Obviously your pc should be able to handle it and you gotta have enough bandwidth, but that's really the way to go.

Well in that case, port forwarding is the way to go. But if you want don't want to go with all of this, just do as QuickLoad said.
