Why is PR not available via Steam?

I did post in the suggestions thread a while back but suspect it didn't pass moderation or I didn't post it properly or something.

Im sure there is a good answer but I don't know it. Why is PR not available on steam? I think if it was available via the Steam platform it would boost the slowly dwindling player base.
