I'm sorry if these have been posted already, but i had failed to find a search button in the forum.
Anyhow, on with my ideas ^_^
Most of my ideas are from the UT2004 mod "Red Orchestra" a WWII mod of German vs. Russian.
if you know of it, then youâ$™ll probably understand it a-bit more.
In RO, you didn't have info about how much ammo is left in your clip, just like in real life, unless you count the shots, there is no meter of ammo left on most guns (some prototype weapons have it built into the goggle piece which is a HUD for the weapon.)But anyhow, moving onto the idea
Taking out the ammo left in gun #,but keeping the amount of clips you have left, would make it alot more accurate to reallife i'd imagine. (plus in RO it was kinda fun to run to a box to take cover, point your gun out, get a perfect lineup, only to find your outta ammo, and the enemy sniper takes your head clean off during his window of opportunity.)
Second, I read something about the idea of taking the crosshairs out,
In RO, they did, and made the "tape on center of screen" old fashioned and inaccurate, the gun was free moving to an extent. Forcing you to use iron sights to fire accurately.
I don't know if itâ$™s possible to do that in BF2 though, as the UT2004 engine was created around the possibilities of a mod community, so they made the possibilities endless: P
And lastly, i was hoping, you could make a cool down on jump, in real life itâ$™s not everyday you go face the Easter bunny with a AK-47.
Please post your honest opinions to these ideas, but try not to bash down on me too hard. And thanks for reading this post ^_^
